Georgia beats Alabama on a no-call, Kalen DeBoer rages

TLDR: No. 2 Georgia won 20-17 at No. 6 Alabama after no flag came on an end-zone throw with 3:28 left, and Kalen DeBoer's sideline meltdown became the clip of the night.
Going in, plenty of people liked Alabama, and the case was simple: DeBoer had owned this matchup.
“I'm leaning towards Alabama because in the first two meetings between Kalen DeBoer and Kirby Smart, DeBoer got the better of him.”
Then came the play that decided it. Georgia led 20-17 with 3:28 left when Keelon Russell went to the end zone for Rico Scott on 2nd-and-10. KJ Bolden got there early without ever turning for the ball, and the ball hit him in the leg. No flag. ESPN's rules analyst Matt Austin said on the broadcast that it should have been pass interference, and Bryant-Denny booed for a long time.
It got worse fast. Bolden sacked Russell on the next snap, Alabama punted, and cornerback Dijon Lee Jr. was flagged for a late hit that handed Georgia the first down it needed. Alabama never got the ball back. The broadcast caught DeBoer screaming at his players with 2:19 left and the flag still on the screen. Barstool's read of what he yelled was all caps.
Afterward, DeBoer took the high road in public. "We can't put the game in that situation where the officials come into play," he said, adding that the officials "just didn't feel, I guess, it was pass interference." Reports say he did confront Lee about the penalty. The fans in the stands were less restrained. They booed, and they kept throwing things as Georgia walked off the field.
The internet split along the usual lines. Some said Alabama has lived off friendly whistles for decades and can live with this one. Others said Bama fans should never stop booing. The fairest version was probably both at once: it was clear PI, and Georgia also won the fight in the trenches on the road.
By Sunday the story had moved on to Kirby Smart. Audio that Barstool called alleged, said to be his pregame speech, was all over the timeline. The video shows nothing because the lens is covered, so all you get is the audio and a lot of words you can't say on TV. Will Compton summed up the whiplash best: the team went straight from the Lord's Prayer to the profanity.

Truly nothing like going from the Lord’s Prayer to a Kirby Smart “make these mother f****** believe” speech
Georgia leaves Tuscaloosa unbeaten with a real case for No. 1. Alabama leaves with its first loss, a no-call nobody in Tuscaloosa will forget, and a question about Lee that DeBoer is going to get asked about all week. That uncalled PI will come up again if these 2 meet in Atlanta in December.
