Steven Cheah, PardonMyMeme test 2 Minute Drill coaching app

TLDR: A new app from 2 Minute Drill dares fans to prove they can call a game better than an NFL head coach, and Steven Cheah, PardonMyMeme and Jack Kennedy all took the bait Tuesday night.
The pitch was simple: think you can coach a game better than an NFL head coach? Prove it. Jack Kennedy went first, and his review was 1 word long.
The app is a daily play-calling game. You get dropped into a game situation, you make the call, and it rates you against what the pros would have done. There's a Daily mode for the day's spots and a Survivor mode for anybody who wants to keep going until they get fired. It's every armchair coordinator's Sunday afternoon turned into a score you can screenshot, which explains why football Twitter spent the night posting their grades.
PardonMyMeme skipped the humility and went straight to the job application, sending it directly to the league office.
That's the whole appeal. Every fan is sure they would have run it on 4th-and-1 and would never have thrown that pick in the red zone. Now there's an app that keeps score, and yelling at the TV comes with receipts. Some people come out looking like geniuses. Others come out posting a single word: pain.
Steven Cheah has a better argument than most. He spends his weeks on Wake Up Barstool breaking down tape and ranking teams, so a play-calling quiz is close to his day job. His question to the timeline was whether he's the next great offensive mind.
Nobody's getting a coordinator interview out of a phone app. Still, it gives the guys who critique coaches for a living a way to put their own calls on the record, and since the challenge resets daily, they'll get another shot tomorrow. Expect the next round of screenshots to come right after somebody's head coach blows a 2-minute drill on Sunday.
