If Bosco wins, Ed spends an entire month in polo shirts. The show called it 'HIGH STAKES' in all caps, and the joke is that both sides look like a punishment. Bosco either gets a travel buddy he didn't ask for on his favorite weekend of the year, or Ed gets 30 days in a collar. The clip went out everywhere across the Barstool accounts Tuesday night, and the response was basically 'both sides are really putting a lot on the line here.' That's deadpan, but it's not totally wrong.

The real issue is that Bosco doesn't think the bet is fair. He seems to think losing the Final Four weekend costs him a lot more than a month of polos costs Ed. The rest of the building isn't having it. Big Cat has been arguing that a polo month would be actual torture for a guy who has never worn one. A few hours after the episode, Big Cat made sure the Final Four side of the bet had real stakes too.

That's classic Big Cat. He's not trying to settle anything, he's trying to make Bosco's possible loss as bad as it can be. Ed isn't just tagging along at the bar either. Now there's talk of a credential that keeps him with Bosco 'the entire weekend.' The Final Four is in Detroit next spring, with the semifinals at Ford Field on April 3 and the title game on April 5. If Ed wins, that's a long weekend for Bosco.

By Wednesday afternoon, people in the office were still lining up against Bosco's fairness complaint.

The trolling theory makes sense. Bosco knows complaining about a bet is what keeps it going, and fans have already picked a side. Ed Brown's corner is pulling hard for him to win a trip to Detroit. Now the picks have to settle it. Every week Ed stays in front, Bosco gets closer to Final Four weekend with a plus-one. Every week Bosco leads, Ed gets closer to polo season. Either way, the Pick Em guys get the content. Dave was already calling a Bosco and Ed Final Four weekend 'unbelievable content.'
