PFT Commenter and Max turn PMT into a screaming match

TLDR: Pardon My Take called it the dumbest argument in show history: a fight between PFT Commenter and producer Max that became a screaming match on air, then ran 25 minutes after recording stopped.
The show posted the clip itself Thursday morning, and its own description pretty much sums it up.
The captions only give us pieces: "want in 2022," "you said," "your facts straight." That's someone being held to a take from 4 years ago, and the other side refusing to let the record be rewritten. The clip never says what the take actually was, and that may be the funniest part. PMT has been running since February 2016, and the show is still willing to call this one its dumbest argument ever.
The fan accounts caught the cross-studio version almost right away, and that's the one that puts names on it: Max and PFT, going back and forth.
For anyone who doesn't know the cast: Max is Max Dolente, the show's head producer since 2022, and he's no stranger to getting dragged into the content. PFT Commenter (Eric Sollenberger) co-hosts the show with Big Cat. Producers fighting with hosts is basically a PMT tradition, but it usually stays at needling. This one turned into actual yelling.
It also didn't end when the episode did. Hank Lockwood, the show's original producer and now its third chair, posted footage from the desk after the taping, with the argument still going.
Twenty-five minutes of extra arguing that nobody was recording for the episode is either a real grudge or the most committed bit in the building, and with this show it's usually both. By Thursday afternoon the account had moved on with a wry wrap-up and a fresh clip about the Eagles.
So that's the verdict after all the screaming: the Eagles can still win the division, and nobody can say for sure what the original fight was about. What to watch for is whether the full off-air portion ever gets released, and whether Max or PFT shows up to the next episode with receipts from 2022.
