Pardon My Take vs. Fore Play golf match ends in putt-off

The match put 3 formats into 9 holes, and the clip that went out with the video skips to the end: everyone crowded around a practice green for the tiebreaker.

An Alt Shot, Speed Golf, & Scramble 9 Hole Match with good old fashioned putt-off. @PGZ_GOLF

On YouTube it's billed as Pardon My Take facing off with Fore Play. That's how Trent ends up in a PMT video, and a putt-off is the right ending for that matchup: neither side would ever let a tie go, and both would be talking about it for weeks. The clip doesn't show who won and nobody has posted a final score, so go watch it yourself. The speed golf leg, which has players running between shots with a timer going, looks like the part people will clip the most.

Big Cat was built for speed golf

Calling Big Cat 'built for speed golf' is a friendly shot at him, but the format is a good fit for this crew. Speed golf rewards whoever panics least with a clock running, and PMT has been doing golf, disc golf and scrambles on its channel for years. Plenty of people post golf videos. The reason to watch these is the chaos around the shots.

Jerry brought some of that chaos. According to the clip's caption, he spent part of the round taking business calls.

There’s a lot of people doing golf videos on YouTube but not many where you can see the players fighting with the cameramen during the match t.co/0ggL5tZOPn

Dana Beers was the guest who didn't come from either podcast. Afterward, Dana went straight to rating their own game.

Played some golf with the @PardonMyTake boys, Trent, and Jerry. Some are saying I’m a #stick t.co/X8RX1x8BO5

Calling yourself a stick is a bold claim with the footage already public, and the comments will settle it. Dana also gave Big Cat a dad joke to use on the course, which is the most useful thing anyone has handed Big Cat on a golf course in a while.

Dana gave Big Cat a nice little dad joke he can use on the links in the future. @PGZ_GOLF

Fore Play is coming off a big stretch of Presidents Cup coverage and PMT is in the middle of football season, so getting both groups on one course was the hard part. The full match is up on the Pardon My Take YouTube channel. Watch for the speed golf, the phone calls and a putt-off that clearly meant more to these guys than it should have.
