Matthew Golden flexes, scores and drops TDs vs. Cowboys

TLDR: Matthew Golden caught a 9-yard touchdown, cashed a +1400 first-TD ticket and drew a 15-yard flex flag, then dropped would-be scores as the Packers beat the Cowboys 23-13 on Sunday Night Football.
Golden's night got loud before he ever reached the end zone. On the opening drive he beat his man deep for 37 yards, then flexed in the defender's face and got flagged for it.

Matthew Golden got flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct… All he did was flex
Fifteen yards for flexing. That's the No Fun League at its finest. The flag pushed Green Bay back, and it didn't matter. 8 plays later Love hit Golden from 9 yards out to cap the first series, and the Packers never trailed again. If you had Golden to score first, you got paid at +1400.
That should have been the start of a monster night. Instead it turned into a run of near misses. Golden dropped a deep ball that would have been a 43-yard touchdown, and the AP recap says he also failed to finish 2 more possible scoring catches. On one deep shot in the 2nd quarter, with Green Bay up 7-0, Love dropped it right in the bucket and it still ended up incomplete.

Golden could have 150 yards by half if he didn’t drop some of these Still such a perfect throw. Thought he got hit while he released, nope just a dime in the bucket
Golden wasn't the only one doing it. By the 2nd half, the gambling side was counting the dropped touchdowns from the whole receiver room, and the compilation is rough to watch. Green Bay's receivers kept getting hands on balls in or near the end zone and just couldn't hang on.
The drops are why the final looks so normal. Love went 23-of-41 for 276 yards with a touchdown pass, and he also scored on a 1-yard keeper. The completion percentage looks bad until you count how many perfect throws hit his receivers in the hands. Golden still ended up with 6 catches for 104 yards on 13 targets. He now has 100 yards in half of his games this season, and there should have been a lot more on Sunday. The whole game was a slog: 22 penalties, 11 for each team.
The betting crowd saw a blowout coming all week. On VSiN's Week 6 opening-line show, the Packers at -1.5 was one of the picks, and the reasoning was simple.
“Dallas does have extra rest here, but I think the Packers score a million points on the Cowboys.”
Green Bay covered easily and didn't come close to a million. With 3 more touchdowns caught, this one is a laugher, and Love's line looks like an MVP game. That's how Hubbs saw it once it was over.

Love’s stat line doesn’t come close to telling you how awesome he was tonight. Money throws all night long. 3 dropped TDs from Golden and Watson. He was great. Defense just as good honestly. Outside of the refs and the drops, great win. 4-2 despite the o-line issues. Sure!
He's right. Green Bay is 4-2 and has won 3 straight, the defense picked off Dak Prescott twice, and Dallas falls to 2-4. Next up is a trip to Detroit, and the Packers can't keep leaving touchdowns on the field there. Golden is the guy beating corners deep every week. Now he just has to catch the ball and keep the flexing for the sideline.
