Kevin Kisner finds the woods at Barstool hole-in-one night

TLDR: Kevin Kisner sent his first ball into the woods at Barstool's night-lit hole-in-one challenge, Jersey Jerry clipped a spectator, and the closest shot of the night rolled over the cup and stopped 1 foot 5 inches away.

Barstool Golf lit up a par 3 under the lights for a Chevrolet-sponsored hole-in-one challenge. The tee box had rainbow light columns and the green sat in front of a glowing HOLE IN ONE sign. It looked like a golf course crossed with a nightclub, and the first real pro to step up gave everybody at home something to feel good about. Kiz, a PGA Tour winner and a Fore Play regular, went straight into the trees with his first ball.

KIZ SENDS THE FIRST ONE INTO THE WOODS 💀 (Then started throwing darts… never a doubt!) Presented by @chevrolet

To be fair to him, it didn't last. According to the Fore Play crew, he started throwing darts at the flag right after the woods ball. Barstool's main account called it the pros being just like us, and that fits. Plenty of amateurs have lost their first ball on a par 3. Very few of them then get to stand there and knock the next few right at the pin.

Kiz lost a golf ball. Jersey Jerry nearly took out a fan. Fore Play posted that he clipped a spectator, and the clip ends on a gray-bearded guy in a quarter-zip pointing at his temple. Nobody says he got hurt, and the gesture looks more like a joke than a trip to urgent care. Still, 'OH NO' is about right.

OH NO… JERSEY JERRY CLIPPED A SPECTATOR!!! Presented by @Chevrolet

Nobody made an ace, but somebody came close. The best shot of the night tracked right at the flag, rolled over the hole and stopped 1 foot 5 inches away. The golfer in the Bears quarter-zip got handshakes on the tee anyway, which feels right. When the ball crosses the cup at a hole-in-one event, you celebrate first and grieve later.

CLOSEST SHOT OF THE NIGHT. ROLLED RIGHT OVER THE HOLE 😫 ENDED UP 1 FOOT 5 INCHES Presented by @Chevrolet

The timing makes it better. The Presidents Cup starts Thursday at Medinah outside Chicago, and Kiz has spent the week on Fore Play breaking it down. On Episode 899 he went back to 2017 at Liberty National. The U.S. led 14.5-3.5 after Saturday, and Tiger Woods, then an assistant captain, had the team concede a putt so the Cup wasn't clinched that night.

“Tiger made us give them a putt on the last hole on Saturday night. So it wasn't over.” – Kevin Kisner

So one week Kiz is telling Tiger stories about running away with a Presidents Cup, and the next he's hunting for a ball in the trees with a Chevy sign behind him. That's the whole appeal of the Barstool golf content machine. Real pros, some chaos, and just enough bad shots to keep the rest of us feeling better about our games. The ace is still out there. The next one might need fewer spectators within range of Jersey Jerry.
