Kate snipes Jerry in Barstool Modern Warfare 2 1v1

TLDR: Kate caught Jerry with a close-range sniper kill while trailing 200-50 in a Barstool Modern Warfare 2 1v1, and Jerry's excuse was that his fingers just stopped working.
Barstool dusted off Modern Warfare 2 for a head-to-head sniper night, and the best moment came from the player who was losing. On a desert map, with the scoreboard reading 200-50 against her, Kate walked right up on Jerry and took him out at close range. Snipers aren't supposed to trade shots from 10 feet away. Somebody forgot to tell Jerry's thumbs.
The back-and-forth is the whole clip. "You let me do that?" Kate asks, honestly surprised the leader just stood there. "No… My fingers just stopped working," Jerry says. That's the oldest excuse in gaming, and it's somehow more embarrassing than just saying you whiffed. Admitting you choked is fine. Blaming your own hands is a whole different level of cope.
These 2 already have history. Kate stole the Jerry After Dark Christmas Spectacular with a roast of him, so she's been beating Jerry at his own show for a while. Beating him in a video game while trailing by 150 is just the newest entry.
Kate didn't pretend it was a clean night, though. Later she posted a different stretch of the stream, with the split-screen HUD literally labeling one side WINNING and the other LOSING, plus a pretty good war joke.
That's the right way to play it. The self-owns are the best part of Barstool gaming streams, and nobody in that room was going to claim the gameplay was polished. Nobody has posted a final score, either. What we've got is 1 kill that got everybody talking, 1 terrible excuse, and a lot of bad sniping in between.
Kate and Jerry weren't the only matchup that night. A second clip from the stream shows a clean 'One Shot Kill' on the Afghan map, followed by the killcam, with the score tied at 50-50 in that matchup.
So the Nicky Clicky nickname finally has a gaming meaning. If Barstool keeps running these 1v1s, and with clips like this they should, the main thing to watch is whether Jerry comes back with working fingers or with a better excuse. Probably the excuse.
