Katic got voted out of Surviving Barstool Season 5 in Episode 1, and now that he's out he's not holding back about Marty Mush.

Surviving Barstool Season 5 has 18 co-workers grinding for a $250,000 prize, and Katic was the first big domino to fall, voted out unanimously in Episode 1 after his own pregame alliance turned on him. Being out of the game hasn't shut him up, though. Now he's doing the press rounds, and the name that keeps coming up is Marty Mush.

The framing from that clip is blunt: Katic is not happy with Marty Mush after everything that went down on the island. Barstool doesn't do quiet exits, and this is shaping up to be one of those stories that outlives the episode that caused it, playing out across podcasts instead of confessionals.

That's the pattern with this show now — eliminated players don't disappear, they become guests, and the audience gets a second, less filtered version of events straight from the person who got burned. Katic's appearance on Big Boys is exactly that: him getting to lay out his side without a torch snuffed in the background.

Meanwhile the actual competition keeps rolling. A new episode dropped Wednesday night, and the cast is fully aware of how ugly things have gotten behind the scenes.

You can cut the animosity with a knife here. Hate to have that. HATE it.

"You can cut the animosity with a knife here. Hate to have that. HATE it," is how one Barstool voice described the vibe around the show right now, and that's before factoring in the Katic-Marty Mush stuff spilling into the podcast feed. Add in chatter that Marty and Rone are "playing for blood" as the game tightens, and Season 5 is starting to feel less like a fun office bit and less contained than usual.

$250,000 changes people, and with the alliances that got Katic eliminated still very much alive in the game, this isn't just gossip for gossip's sake — it's a preview of how ugly things could get for whoever's left standing when the money's actually on the table.
