Trent's birdie challenge grind turns into the Kiz and Trent show

TLDR: ForePlay's Daily Nine content machine hasn't slowed down, and Trent's birdie challenge arc just picked up a new sidekick.
ForePlay has never been shy about turning its co-hosts into content, but the last few days have been a full-on Trent Ryan showcase. Between the Daily Nine grind and a full-length birdie challenge, the guy who used to be the punching bag of the pod is suddenly playing golf that makes people stop and notice.
The improvement is real enough that ForePlay's own account cracked that back-to-back pars now count as a letdown for Trent, which says a lot about how far he's come from the guy who used to shank it off the first tee for content. Eric Hubbs even joked he was ready to call the cops if Trent chased down a shot, the kind of needling that only happens when someone's actually playing well.
Kevin Kisner, who joined ForePlay full-time as a fourth host earlier this year after four PGA Tour wins and a run as an NBC analyst, has apparently taken Trent's development as a personal project. Frankie Borrelli called the pairing unbelievable listening on her way through the airport, and Trent himself leaned into the branding, dubbing it 'The Kiz and Trent Show' (post-0b0fb880-ee06-4d2f-a8a5-8b6c3804d32e, post-83717d7d-8f33-49de-ac03-5a2cb3870d5c). ForePlay's main account picked up the same tag days later, which means it's officially a bit now, not just a one-off joke.
The challenges themselves haven't been small stuff, either. Trent went after the famous floating island green with just one club in tow, the kind of gimmick hole that's become a bucket-list stop for golf influencers and tour pros alike.

While Trent's been chasing birdies and bunker shots, Riggs has been quietly grinding through his own Daily Nine slate out in Arizona, closing out the month's run under brutal desert heat with a Sun Cruiser can parked next to the cup for good measure.

None of this is groundbreaking golf, but that's the whole appeal of Daily Nine — watching normal-ish golfers grind through gimmick challenges day after day builds the kind of running storyline a highlight reel never could. Trent's turn from cannon fodder to a guy legitimately threatening bogey-free stretches is the sort of arc that keeps people clicking play every single day, and with Kiz now fully installed as his golf whisperer, there's no reason to think the bit slows down anytime soon.
