Barstool's $25K parlay hits Fannin, dies with Phillies

The bet was the prize from DraftKings' field goal challenge stream, and the slip went in Thursday afternoon with the whole gambling cave on 1 ticket.

The bonus bet for the Field Goal Stream (fair and honest competition) has been placed. The gambling cave will all be rowing in the same direction tonight. #DKpartner
The "fair and honest competition" line is doing a lot of work there. Over on the Yak, the office had already decided the stream was rigged in Tate's favor. Still, the build was simple: 2 legs, both of them games the Cave was sweating anyway. Big Cat laid out what came out of the meeting.
“The Philadelphia Phillies money line and Jalen Warren or Harold Fannin to score a touchdown. Whole cave together.” – Big Cat
The football leg came in early. Deshaun Watson hit Harold Fannin Jr. on a 2-yard touchdown in the 2nd quarter, part of the run where Cleveland turned a 7-0 deficit against Pittsburgh into a 21-7 lead. The Cave got to celebrate 1 leg, and then everybody looked over at the baseball.

ONE LEG OF THE $25K PARLAY IS DOWN Harold Fannin TD ✅ Phillies ML is the last leg 👀
The Phillies leg was in trouble almost from the start. Michael Harris II hit a 3-run homer in the bottom of the 1st of Wild Card Game 3 in Atlanta, the Braves never gave up the lead, and they won 6-2 to end Philadelphia's season. Atlanta moves on to face the Dodgers in the NLDS. The ticket was dead about an hour after the Fannin score, and the $25K bonus bet went with it.
The Browns side of the night went better for everybody else. Cleveland won 27-24 when Andre Szmyt hit a 56-yard field goal with 10 seconds left. That put the Browns at 3-1 and alone in 1st place in the AFC North. Watson played into both sides of the bets: he threw the Fannin touchdown and he also threw 2 interceptions, which was exactly what Megan was counting on.
So the score for the night: Megan cashed, the Browns are leading their division, and the field goal stream money is gone because of a baseball team that couldn't recover from the 1st inning. Tate isn't slowing down, either. Chalktober keeps going into Friday's slate, and he's asking for everyone's best -1000 plays.
