WhiteSox Dave steals the show on The Dog Walk's Feel Rich draft

TLDR: The Dog Walk's snake draft on things that make you feel rich turned into a WhiteSox Dave argument clinic, and the internet can't stop replaying it.

The Dog Walk ran another one of its signature snake drafts this week, this time on the category of things that make you feel rich, with Eddie hosting alongside danabeers and BarstoolNate. As always with these drafts, the fun isn't really the category, it's watching the picks and the arguments that follow.

WhiteSox Dave went first-round on an Amex Platinum, and that set the tone. BarstoolChief's board got so much praise that Cons called it a masterclass with not a single bad pick, joking in the same breath that the raccoon involved in the segment had no idea what was going on. That's the kind of chaos this show runs on.

master class put on by @BarstoolChief on today's draft he did not have a single bad pick. In fact, they were all amazing and in the spirit of the draft this was further bolstered by the raccoon's inability to understand the draft

But the real storyline that stuck around a full day later wasn't Chief's board, it was WSD's performance on the mic. Eddie came back the next afternoon to hype the episode again, and this time he made the WSD angle explicit.

"Vintage WSD" is doing a lot of work there. Nate had already gone on record the day before saying he couldn't stress enough how amazing WhiteSox Dave was on the draft, and the Stoolies Clubhouse account chimed in agreeing with Nate that WSD is infuriating in the best possible way. When three separate accounts converge on the same read of one guy's draft performance, that's a real bit forming, not just noise.

One of the actual picks that sparked debate was a fully stocked beverage fridge, which Barstool Sports' main account later reposted as a standalone highlight. Pat weighed in on it directly, arguing that a fridge in the garage specifically is where the real wealth is, not just any beverage fridge.

The draft even bled into the real world. WhiteSox Dave posted that he put $1,500 into a stock the same morning after seeing a tweet tied to the draft, which is either a great parlay of internet content into portfolio management or a terrible one, depending how that stock's doing.

In light of today's @DogWalkBarstool snake draft, I dumped $1500 into this stock this morning after seeing this tweet

None of this is life-changing content, and it's not supposed to be. It's a Dog Walk snake draft doing exactly what it's built to do: give the hosts a dumb premise, let WSD argue his way through it, and let the timeline pick sides for a day or two before the next episode drops.
