Tetairoa McMillan cashes the Barstool Gambling Cave parlay

TLDR: Tetairoa McMillan's touchdown against the Lions finally cashed the Barstool Gambling Cave parlay on Sunday night, and Mintzy says it was her 5th big-odds primetime parlay hit of the season.

The Cave parlay was down to 2 legs by the time Sunday Night Football kicked off: Jameson Williams or Tetairoa McMillan had to find the end zone. Jamo got the first crack at it, and the room did not take it well.

“HE’S A BUM” Jamo had a chance to cash the cave parlay and didn’t even try to make a play the ball

That's the risk with the format the stream has been running all fall. Everybody in the room picks one leg. The legs are short-priced on their own, but stack enough of them and the price balloons, so the whole thing comes down to whoever is still sweating at the end. Steven Cheah laid out the idea on Quick Picks back in September.

“Everyone is making a pick, but it's a very favored pick. So it's like minus 200 to minus 300 odds.” – Steven Cheah

Sunday's version got some help before the night game even started. Ja'Marr Chase's injury voided Ohio's Tate's leg, and DraftKings dropped it from the ticket, which left everything riding on Jamo or Tet. The afternoon hadn't gone great for the room either. With Jamo coming up empty and McMillan getting close but not scoring, the 'allergic to the end zone' jokes started up fast.

Tetairoa McMillan and Jamo might be allergic to the end zone

Then McMillan came through in the 2nd quarter. Big Cat gave Jerry the credit for the pick, the couches emptied, and the DraftKings ticker on the stream had Carolina up 7-6.

McMillan wasn't anywhere near done. He finished with 14 catches for a career-high 192 yards and 2 touchdowns, and Bryce Young went 29-of-41 for 329 yards and 2 scores in a 32-26 win over Detroit. Young leaned on McMillan with Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette both out hurt. McMillan joined Steve Smith Sr. and Patrick Jeffers as the only Panthers ever with at least 10 catches, 150 yards and 2 touchdowns in a game. Late in the 4th, Young hit him on a 3rd and 14 to pretty much seal it.

The Cave parlay wasn't the only primetime winner at Barstool. A few hours after the final whistle, Mintzy took her own victory lap.

This is 5th prime time parlay I have hit already this season all at big odds. Y’all are welcome!!!!

Five big-odds primetime hits a month into the season is her own count, and she clearly wants credit for it. The next test is Monday night, plus whatever the Cave comes up with for next Sunday. After the way Sunday went, Williams has some ground to make up with the room, and McMillan can probably have any leg he wants.
