Abe and Lu take over Barstool HQ for Telluride Bush Gaming

Telluride Bush Gaming has quietly become one of the better stories in competitive Call of Duty this year, and now the org is bringing the cameras into the building that funds it. Abe and Lu rolled into Barstool HQ for a multi-day vlog run, and the footage has been dropping in waves ever since.

That's the format here: hallway meetups, quick hits, and a full vlog dropped after each one. It's low-stakes, high-charm content, and it's the kind of access most esports orgs never give fans — two players just wandering a media company's offices meeting whoever's around.

The stops weren't just comedic. Lu got asked point blank about the org's GM, and the answer was diplomatic but telling for anyone tracking how the front office is perceived from the roster's side.

Bush Gaming isn't some vanity side project propping up empty content, either. Barstool's Lil Sas, Jersey Jerry and Connor Mook launched the Challengers program under the Bush banner in 2025, and the roster has since put together seven tournament wins and roughly $103,000 in prize money this year — enough to pass Toronto KOI and outearn 8 of the 12 top-tier CDL teams, according to Insider Gaming. That success is exactly why a HQ visit feels bigger than a normal vlog: the org has earned the attention.

The trip closed out with something a little more physical than a hallway chat: a 1v1 tournament pitting Bush against actual Barstool employees, running old-school MW2 Rust with quickscopes and no-scopes only — as retro a format as competitive Call of Duty gets in 2026.

None of it moves the CDL standings, but that's not really the point. Bush Gaming's whole appeal has been treating a Challengers team like a Barstool show — cameras rolling, personalities front and center, results as a bonus. A few days of Abe and Lu running around HQ is exactly that formula working as intended.
