We backed the Rays at -116 on the moneyline, leaning on Seymour's dominant last outing and a Tampa Bay lineup that's been the better version of itself at Tropicana. The Yankees are missing Judge and Stanton, which caps their offensive ceiling against a quality lefty. That price has since ticked to -128, and the Rays' win backs up the value.

New York came in shorthanded and stayed that way. Aaron Judge still has no firm return date as he works back from a stress fracture in his rib, and Giancarlo Stanton's calf setback means he hasn't even resumed running, per manager Aaron Boone. The Yankees countered with Trent Grisham back off the IL and leading off, Anthony Volpe out of the lineup, and Ben Rice sliding to the 3-hole against Seymour's lefty arm.
