Suarez is an All-Star pitching against a lineup that's mustered next to nothing all week, while Johnson's ERA sits north of 7. This is about as clean a form-and-matchup edge as you'll find.

Ryan Johnson gets the ball for the Angels carrying a 7.40 ERA, and the Angels' pitching staff has had almost nothing go right lately. Logan O'Hoppe is banged up behind the plate after taking a shot to the head, and Mike Trout is working his way back from a hamstring strain that's kept the middle of this lineup thin all week. The Angels have also been without Grayson Rodriguez all season, though he's at least stringing together clean rehab innings in Salt Lake.
