The Dodgers have won 5 in a row and have absolutely battered everyone in their path — a 15-6 demolition of Colorado in the middle of that stretch, then a 4-2 win over the Phillies in the opener Friday. Philly's hardly been a pushover either, taking 3 of 4 from San Diego before flying west, but that opener loss snapped the heater and now they're staring at a do-not-get-swept spot on the road.

The injury list is where this matchup gets weird. The Dodgers are missing Snell, Tyler Glasnow, Teoscar Hernández (Grade 1 hamstring), and Kiké Hernández, who's looking at 6-to-8 weeks with a significant oblique tear suffered in that Rockies blowout. That should help Philly. What doesn't help: Aaron Nola is away on paternity leave, which is the right call for him and a real one for the rotation depth. Either way, the line tells you exactly what Vegas thinks — Dodgers sit around -1766 on the moneyline, and Pinnacle has the total at 6.5.
If Luzardo brings the Padres version, this is a live dog spot. If he brings the version that gives up five, it's going to get ugly fast against a Dodgers lineup that just hung 15 on a big-league team three nights ago. Lock in for 9:10 PM PT.
