Arizona's getting plus money as the road team, and that price feels generous for a lineup that just hung 8 runs on this same Padres club two days ago. Cabrera's inexperience is the obvious hole, but San Diego's bullpen has been running thin behind King, and a shaky middle relief crew is a real equalizer if this game gets close late. King is exactly the arm the Padres need on a night like this. He's coming off 7 shutout innings against Atlanta after a rough patch, and with the bullpen already thin, length from him matters. The board favors San Diego to win outright, but the number on Arizona's side reflects a lineup that's still capable of one loud inning blowing this thing open.
