The morning started with everything in front of them. tBush Gaming came into Day 3 of the EWC Last Chance Qualifier in Paris needing one more series win to punch a ticket to the Grand Final, and they had Torn Esports standing between them and it in a winners-bracket Best of 5.

It fell apart fast. Torn controlled the Den Hardpoint from the jump, took Map 2 with the whole Bush roster going negative, then closed the door with a dominant Overload win to sweep the series 3-0 and send Bush to the loser's bracket instead of the Grand Final. "That just put me in one of the worst moods of all time and now I'm headed to church," one player reportedly said afterward.

That set up a win-or-go-home Losers Final against The Pit EU, and Bush actually delivered the response fans wanted early. They opened with a 250-201 win on Den Hardpoint behind a huge damage output from F3AR, then found themselves right back in the mud when The Pit EU evened the series on Gridlock Search and Destroy.

From there it slipped away for good. The Pit EU took Scar Overload after a second-half reset, then closed the series on Scar HP, eliminating Bush from the tournament and locking in a third-place finish at the LCQ with no berth into the Grand Final's Best of 7.
It's a rough way to end things, but zoom out and it's a genuinely strong debut year. tBush Gaming's own recap put the numbers in perspective: 8 tournament wins across the season, including 5 Challenger Cups, 2 Elite Playoffs and a Major title, on top of the $132,000 they banked. Not bad for a franchise that didn't exist a year ago.

A slightly premature end to the year, but what an inaugural season for @tBushGaming: 8 Tournament Wins 🏆 - 5 Challenger Cups - 2 Elite Playoffs - 1 Major (III) Majors: I: 2nd II: 7th/8th III: 1st 🏆 IV: 3rd Champs: 5th/6th EWC LCQ: 3rd $132,000 Total Earned #Unshaven🌳
The mood in the fan base landed somewhere between deflated and proud. "This team got another top 3 finish and it feels like the world is crashing down on them," one Stoolies Clubhouse post read, crediting the roster for "smashing the door down onto the challengers scene" despite constant lineup turnover all year. Whatever changes come next season, this group leaves its first year with a real resume to build on.
