That's not a bit built for the episode title, either. The show followed up a day later with a clip literally captioned "Rotisserie Chicken Incident," milking the same story for a second post. It's the kind of self-inflicted, no-frills embarrassment that's been the backbone of Son of a Boy Dad since Francis started co-hosting alongside Adam Ferrone and Harry Settel, and it's exactly why the show has built the following it has.
The rock bottom framing got backup from an unexpected corner too. Gaz, who's been around Barstool since the earlier "Barstool Comedy" days, jumped in to vouch for the story, placing it in that specific stretch right before Dave bought the company back. Not the kind of detail you invent to sell a bit.
Two days later the couch pivoted hard, with Francis floating a plan to try out for the 2028 Olympics. It's a funny line delivered with a straight face on a set where he's also visibly working through a knee injury, so read it as the joke it clearly is rather than an actual training update.

He kept going with the bit in a follow-up clip, doing the math out loud on his own age by the time 2028 rolls around and namechecking a tryout he's got lined up in September. Whether that tryout is real or another layer of the joke, the show didn't let it go for an episode.
By Thursday, Son of a Boy Dad had already turned the page to episode #429, "The Caulkroach Problem," and Viva La Stool posted that Francis is taking a break from touring. Barstool's Eric Nathan chimed in separately with a shoutout, saying he hopes Francis "straps the rocketship to himself" and keeps cranking out content, calling him one of his favorite people at the company. Between the rock bottom confession, the Olympic bit, and a new episode already out, the show isn't slowing down anytime soon.
